| Sue Glab |
Sue’s love of building, design and architecture began as a young child, and continued on through her tertiary studies. Graphic design and interior design were studied at the College of Art, Brisbane.
Sue ran her own interior design business specializing in renovations, and continued her work consulting for private clients, commercial developers, and as interior decorator for design house, Laura Ashley.
Her primary love of organic housing is shared by her husband, a builder, and three daughters. The family has been fortunate in being able to create houses of individuality and form, and to use materials as diverse as rammed earth, straw bale, native timbers, concrete, stone and recycled materials. Together they owned a building company for over 20 years, where Sue was fortunate to be able to apply her design ideas.
She and her sister Megan came together and saw the need to create individual, earth-borne designs for use in today’s contemporary society. |
